POLICE say a 15-year-old who was arrested on suspicion of assault after an incident in Carlisle city centre has been released under investigation.
A woman in her early 30s from Carlisle suffered injuries believed to be minor in the incident.
It happened on Castle Street, across from Carlisle Cathedral, on Tuesday just before 11am.
A spokesman from Cumbria Police said: "A 15-year-old girl from Carlisle has been arrested on suspicion of assault and released under investigation.
"Any witnesses to the incident or anyone with CCTV or dashcam footage is asked to contact PC 2675 Earl on 101, or email 101@cumbria.police.uk, quoting log 68 of November 26."
