A CARAVAN fire has been extinguished at an industrial estate in Carlisle.
Crews from the city's east and west stations were called at about 4.15pm to Willowholme Industrial Estate in Caldewgate.
A spokesman from Carlisle East fire station said: "A member of public had rescued the occupant of the caravan prior to our arrival, but firefighters extinguished the blaze using four breathing apparatus, two hosereels, and small tools.
"The occupant was treated for smoke inhalation by the ambulance service."
