A man has been arrested after a suspected "ram raid" burglary at a Whitehaven shop.
Millets in King Street was targeted shortly before 6am this morning, when police say a silver car crashed into the shop.
More than £2,000 of clothing is said to have been stolen, before the force says the thief/ves made off in the same car.
One man, aged 28, has been arrested on suspicion of burglary and is currently in police custody.
Detectives are keen to hear from any witnesses.
Officers are keen to hear from anyone travelling between Whitehaven and Salterbeck between 5am and 7am.
