A HIGH street coffee chain is to reopen its doors to the public in Whitehaven tomorrow (May 28).
Costa Coffee has confirmed that its King Street shop will reopen for takeaway orders, with a limited menu on offer.
Costa Coffee Whitehaven posted the following on its Facebook page yesterday (May 26): "We're reopening our Whitehaven store for takeaway orders on the 28th May.
"We will be adopting new safety measures to protect both our staff and customers.
"Please keep an eye on our page for more information."
The coffee giants pledge to serve many of their favourite drinks and limited food items when they reopen.
"The safety of our staff and customers is our top priority during this time, so please know we will be adopting lots of additional new safety measures when we re-open," an earlier post said.
The store has been closed since March 23, as part of the effort to control the spread of coronavirus.
