Former Wolves defender Aaron Hayden has today linked up with Carlisle United on trial.
The 22-year-old joins Carlisle's squad, ahead of their pre-season friendly at Chester tomorrow (7.30pm kick-off) having been released by the Premier League team in May.
Croydon-born Hayden has had loan spells at Newport County, Hemel Hempstead, Bromley, AFC Telford United and Stourbridge.
Hayden joins fellow United trialists Isaac Buckley-Ricketts, Elliott Reeves and Tyrone Duffus at Brunton Park, with decisions set to be made on the latter three after the clash at the Deva Stadium.
After losing 4-3 to Hibernian last Tuesday in their opening friendly ahead of their 2019/20 campaign, Carlisle claimed a 4-0 success at Penrith AFC on Saturday.
Former Manchester City winger Buckley-Ricketts, Hallam Hope, Keighran Kerr and Josh Galloway were all on target for Steven Pressley's side at Frenchfield Park.
