One person was arrested after a crash Monday morning in Jefferson City.
Officers were dispatched at 11:24 a.m. Monday to a crash with injuries in the northbound lanes of the 500 block of Missouri 179, according to Jefferson City Police Department reports.
The investigation revealed a vehicle driven by Barbara Forsythe, 32, of Jefferson City, had failed to stop for stopped traffic ahead and struck a vehicle driven by Michael Sharpley, 47, of Taylorsville, Mississippi.
Forsythe received minor injuries and was transported to a local hospital for treatment. She was also arrested for DWI.
Sharpley had no reported injuries.
Traffic was restricted to one lane for about 30 minutes while the crash scene was cleared.
