The Predators tallied five goals on Tuesday night - four of them with a goaltender in the net - in a 5-3 win over the Stars in Dallas.
Former Preds defenseman - and current radio broadcaster - Hal Gill had one of the best seats in the house for all of them, a birds-eye view from the booth high above the ice. A day later, he's breaking them down, in a way only Skillsy can.
Here now, enjoy this first installment of Skills That Thrill.

NSH@DAL: Boyle cleans up rebound in front

NSH 1, DAL 0: Brian Boyle from Roman Josi and Calle Jarnkrok, 10:50, 1st Period.
Skillsy says: "Josi powers through the neutral zone and drives wide attacking the net. He knows he could take a hit, and he does. Everyone knows where he's taking the puck, so it's just a matter of time before Boyle backhands it in. Boyle is coming around, and the Preds know that he will be at the net. They will use him! I have a feeling there are more goals to come from him!"

NSH@DAL: Grimaldi beats Khudobin with slick move

NSH 2, DAL 1: Rocco Grimaldi from Ryan Hartman and Ryan Ellis, 10:57, 2nd Period.
Skillsy says: "Total team effort on Grimaldi's goal! Ellis battles it up the boards, Nick Bonino pushes back the strong-side defenseman, and Josi is jumping up, forcing Jamie Benn to take him and leaving time for Hartman to check for Grimaldi on the weak side. Grimaldi's recognition and speed burst leads him into a gorgeous lob pass, and with a wide stance, power move and slam dunk, he finishes the play."

NSH@DAL: Forsberg stuffs in rebound to tie game

NSH 3, DAL 3: Filip Forsberg from Ryan Ellis, 18:16, 2nd Period.
Skillsy says: "No. 9 recognizes the turnover and gets a step on John Klingberg, forcing him to make a choice: run over his goalie, or give 9 the front. Ellis sees this and knows there's no time for a big shot. Instead, he just needs a quick pass. Forsberg is strong on his edges while he kicks the puck up to his stick, then has the patience to extend around Anton Khudobin's pad. Sneaky Filthy."

NSH@DAL: Josi scores on deflected shot

NSH 4, DAL 3: Roman Josi from Kyle Turris and Ryan Ellis, 7:35, 3rd Period.
Skillsy says: Josi is so silky smooth! Turris sets him up off the high cycle, confusing the Dallas defenders for a moment. Colton Sissons works to the front, and Josi, always ready to pass, has guys reaching for passing lanes. The Stars defender is fishing while Jos rides his inside edge all the way back into the slot. One more back-foot push gives him enough space to get the shot off. Any shot from the slot is a good shot! I really don't see any other defenseman in the NHL that is as good, or more valuable, to his team than Roman."
