Drivers seriously injured in 2-vehicle crash on Route 206 in Burlington County

Both drivers were seriously injured in a head-on, two-vehicle crash on Route 206 in Burlington County on Monday morning, authorities said.

A 31-year-old Tabernacle man driving north crossed over the center line in Southampton and struck a southbound car driven by a 31-year-old Mount Laurel woman, State Police said.

Both were taken to Capital Health Regional Medical Center in Trenton in serious condition. There were no passengers in either vehicle.

The crash took place near milepost 20.6 around 8:35 a.m., Trooper Alejandro Goez said.

Route 206 was shut down in both directions south of Vincentown-Buddtown Road for about four-and-a-half hours while State Police investigated.
