Some of New Jersey’s biggest lobbying firms received millions of dollars in forgivable loans under the federal government’s program to help small businesses pay their workers.

The list includes Gibbons PC, where former Gov. Chris Christie’s long-time adviser, Bill Palatucci, serves as special counsel, and the public affairs affiliate of Archer & Greiner, according to a list of recipients released Monday by the U.S. Treasury Department and the Small Business Administration.
