Actor and comedian Adam Sandler was no “Waterboy” when he took to the basketball court in New Jersey this weekend.

On Friday, Sandler performed in Atlantic City at Hard Rock Casino & Hotel’s Mark Etess Arena, but according to BreakingAC.com, he first surprised a few kids with a pickup basketball game.

The report says the epic encounter, a five-on-five game, went down at a basketball court on Pennsylvania Avenue.

One of the kids, named Abdul, told the website that he and his friends couldn’t believe it was the “Happy Gilmore” star at first.

“He was on my team, which was mad cool,” Abdul told Breaking AC.
