21-year-old woman killed in shooting at Newark housing complex

A 21-year-old woman was fatally shot at a housing complex in Newark late Sunday, according to authorities.

Rashidah Y. Sutton-Bryant died at an area hospital a short time after the city resident was shot around 10:20 p.m. at the Bradley Court public housing complex on North Munn Avenue, the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office said in a statement.

There were no arrests and authorities did not provide more details on the shooting.
