Dan Merkel threw two touchdown passes to lead Allentown to a 28-20 win over Trenton, in Allentown.

Merkel served up the dagger for Allentown (2-3) when he hit Sal D’Adamo with an 80-yard touchdown on a third and one in the fourth quarter. The quarterback found Chris McCrea for a 40-yard scoring pass in the opening quarter.

Trenton fell to 3-3 on the season.
