Daniel Besnch led top-seeded Notre Dame with two goals and one assist in its 4-1 win over eighth-seeded Trenton in the quarterfinal round of the Mercer County Tournament in Lawrenceville.

Aiden Hoenisch also found the net twice for Notre Dame (15-2). Giulliano Silva and Chris O’Neill recorded one assist each in the victory.

Nick Wilke made four saves between the pipes for Notre Dame.

Notre Dame will take on fourth-seeded Princeton in the semifinal round at Hopewell Valley in Pennington on Monday at 7 p.m.
