Franklin used a second-half surge to capture the Route 206 Holiday Tournament with a 49-39 win over Roxbury in Newton.

Franklin (4-1) got nine points from senior Tracy Brown and eight points apiece from senior Edward Turay, junior Demi Alao and sophomore Isaiah Cotten as the Warriors outscored Roxbury 33-22 in the second half.

Junior Trevor Napoliello led Roxbury (3-1) with 11 points while junior Jason Raggi added eight.

For Franklin, coach Tony Mento obtained his 200th career win. Mento is a Franklin alum and previously coached at Rutgers Prep from 1999-2009.
