Brian Westergaard contributed to the win with two goals and two assists as Joe Carey notched the other two goals for Roxbury (1-0). Nick Thomas led the team with four assists while Kevin Keane registered two.
Ryan Callahan turned away 14 shots between the pipes for Roxbury.
Sparta is 0-1-1 with the loss.
