Woman, 35, struck and killed by NJ Transit light rail train is identified

New Jersey Transit officials have identified the woman struck and killed by a light rail train Monday night as a 35-year-old Clifton resident.

Saskia Guerrero was hit by a Hudson-Bergen Line train around 11 p.m. near Port Imperial Boulevard in Weehawken, a New Jersey Transit spokesman said Wednesday.

The Hoboken-bound train had 70 people aboard.

The incident remains under investigation.
