MASENA — Massena-based SeaComm Credit Union celebrated the grand opening of its seventh branch with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and grand opening event on Thursday, Jan. 23.

The South Burlington branch finalized construction at 1680 Shelburne Rd., and was open to the public Jan. 21.

“We are delighted to be a part of the greater South Burlington community and that our new location at 1680 Shelburne Road will give us access to a highly visible, ever-expanded retail location,” said Scott A. Wilson, SeaComm President and Chief Executive Officer. “The City of South Burlington was very supportive of our new building project throughout the planning and construction phase.”

“We have been pleased with our reception so far into the market and the opportunity afforded to us by Pizzagalli Properties,” he added. “We look forward to meeting our Vermont neighbors and the opportunity to serve in this new market and be an intricate partner in this vibrant community.”

The private celebratory event was attended by SeaComm Board of Directors, President/CEO, senior leadership team, credit union volunteers and several staff with guests. They were joined by representatives of the project design team, P. W. Campbell, project vendor representatives, local figures and credit union officials. Food and refreshments were provided by local event services company, Catering By Dale.
