Fairview residents accused of running drug lab in house

Two Fairview residents were arrested and are accused of running a drug lab out of a home on Day Avenue.

Jose Ulloa, 30, and Stephanie Picinich, 29, were arrested by police on Wednesday after the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force investigated reports that Ulloa was selling drugs from his home, said Mark Musella, the Bergen County prosecutor.

The investigation began in May and police searched Ulloa's home, arresting him and Picinich. The pair were charged with maintaining or operating a controlled dangerous substance production facility, possession with intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) within 1,000 feet of a school, possession with intent to distribute, possession with the intent to distribute a controlled dangerous substance (heroin), possession of a controlled dangerous substance (heroin) and possession of a controlled dangerous substance (marijuana). 

Stephanie Picinich, 29 and Jose Ulloa, 30, both of Fairview, are accused of running a drug lab out of Ulloa's home.

Ulloa and Picinich were released pending their first court appearance.
