A BIKER was airlifted to Stoke Hospital following a crash in Bangor on Thursday afternoon.
The incident involved an orange and black motorbike and a yellow Suzuki car and took place on Caernarfon Road at around 4pm.
Police, paramedics and the Wales Air Ambulance were called to the collision and officers closed the road for a "considerable time".
A Welsh Ambulance Service spokeswoman said: "We were called to a road traffic collision involving a motorcyclist on Caernarfon Road in Bangor at 4.03pm.
"We responded with an emergency ambulance, one rapid response vehicle and we were also supported by the air ambulance. An adult male was taken to Royal Stoke University Hospital by air."
