A SECOND wave of free tickets for some of Cheshire's top attractions go online on Thursday, March 21.
Following high demand for last week's release, hundreds more free Resident Festival tickets will be available from 10am – click here.
The festival, from March 30 to April 7, is a way of thanking Cheshire residents for welcoming more than 64 million tourists into the county each year.
It coincides with VisitBritain’s English Tourism Week and is being supported by Cheshire East Council, Cheshire West and Chester Council, and Warrington Borough Council.
Cllr Samantha Dixon, CWAC leader, said: “This is a wonderful excuse to get out and enjoy free attractions nearby or go somewhere across the county that you’ve always been meaning to visit. I am pleased the first free tickets have attracted such high demand.
“With more than 64 million visitors annually, tourism in Cheshire is a thriving business and continues to grow and this innovative festival is a wonderful way to celebrate its importance and recognise the contribution of residents."
The number of tickets available will vary according to the attraction and everyone applying must have either a Cheshire or Warrington postcode.
