John Gallen, 27, of Wilcox Avenue, Mansfield, pleaded guilty to drink-driving in Kirkby Folly Road, Sutton-in-Ashfield.

Magistrates in Mansfied heard he was driving a Renault Megane when he had 50 micrograms of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, over the limit of 35, on March 24.

Gallen was fined £380 and ordered to pay a £38 victim surcharge and costs of £85.

His driving record will be endorsed for using the Renault Megane without insurance on March 24.

A teenager was over the drink drive limit in a red Vauxhall Astra in Wolds Lane, Clipston-on-the-Wolds.
