Nottingham is bracing for a warm and sunny spring bank holiday as the city looks set to bathe in high temperatures.

After a spell of wet and very windy weather across much of the UK on Saturday, temperatures are expected to rise to 21C on Monday May 25 in Nottingham.

The UV index will be high across most of the UK and pollen levels will be moderate in most of England and low elsewhere.

Wollaton Park has been open for some time during lockdown, as well as its car park but Saturday, May 23 its toilets, baby changing and the café kiosk are available to use.

New details on the park's website confirm toilets and baby changing are open at both the 508 café and Courtyard café during limited hours and are subject to capacity and maintanence.

And the café kiosk will be available for takeaway.

Outside of the city at another popular visitor attraction, car parks have been reopened with reduced capacity at Sherwood Forest for the first time in months.
