It's a beautiful day in Nottinghamshire today and families are out and about enjoying the sunshine and warm temperatures.

The mercury is set to reach highs of 23C in the city by 4pm (May 25) as people flock to beauty spots, garden centres or even just their back garden for a barbecue and picnic.

In more eased lockdown restrictions, people in are now allowed to travel anywhere in England fr exercise as long as they maintain social distancing.

But despite the easing of some lockdown measures last week, people have been urged to stay away from beaches and beauty spots to prevent the spread of coronavirus.

The UV index is high across most of the UK and pollen levels will be moderate in most of England and low elsewhere.
