A Nottingham road has been closed by police after a crash.

Forest Road East is closed between Mansfield Road and Waverley Street, near to the Arboretum.

Officers from Nottinghamshire Police were called just before 8.45pm on Tuesday, May 26 to a report of a crash involving one car, which appears to have left the road.

A man is being treated at the scene and the extent of his injuries is not yet known, the force added.
