Delays to all tram services have been reported after a power cut.

The delays were first reported at 7.30am.

A Nottingham Express Transit spokesperson said: "We currently have delays to all services following power issues, apologies for the inconvenience caused, we're working hard to rectify the issue."

Western Power Distribution reported a power cut in NG1 areas early this morning (December 16).

A WPD spokesperson said: "There is a power cut in Nottingham NG1 areas. We are sorry about this and aim to have all properties back on by 8am."

WPD update

A Western Power Distribution spokesperson said: “The affected areas included NG1, NG3 and NG7 after an under-ground cable fault.

“It affected 3,000 properties and it may have caused dips in the tram network lines.

“Power was restored to all areas in under an hour.”
