Good morning, Nottingham Forest fans!

Welcome to our daily digest of all things Reds on Thursday, March 21.

We've got a lot to get through today so let's get to it...

Forest linked with Wigan midfielder

Forest are interested in signing Wigan Athletic winger Gavin Massey, according to the Mail Online.

The 26-year-old is out of contract at the DW Stadium this summer as the Latics frantically fight to keep their man beyond this season.

It is understood that the ex-Watford man is keen to stay in Greater Manchester, but with Wigan just three points clear of the relegation zone he may be tempted to make the switch should they be condemned to the drop.

After struggling with injuries during the first part of the season, Massey has begun to hit form in the Championship during recent weeks.

Lewis Grabban back from injury

Lewis Grabban says he is pain free and ready to go – and hopes to stay fit for the final eight games of Forest’s Championship run-in.

The striker has returned to training this week and, while he was not involved in a behind-closed-doors practice game yesterday, he does expect to be ready for selection when the Reds take on Swansea after the international break.

Grabban, who is Forest’s top scorer with 16 goals this season, says it has been frustrating watching the action unfold from the sidelines, as Martin O’Neill’s side look to forge a late push for the play-off places.

But his Achilles problem has abated enough for him to prepare for a return to action – and he hopes the problem can be properly addressed, once and for all, in the summer.

City Ground statistic that puts Reds ahead of Leeds and Villa

Forest's City Ground has been packed to the rafters on more than one occasion this season.

The Reds have sold out five of their last six home fixtures in the Championship as they continue their chase for a play-off spot in May.

The sound of Mull of Kintyre can be heard from further afield than just West Bridgford when Forest fans get going, creating one of the best atmospheres in English football.

But where do Forest's attendance figures actually rank? Well, new attendance statistics have now been revealed.

Why Liverpool hate Forest

It has been 20 years since Nottingham Forest and Liverpool last faced each other in a competitive fixture.

A 2-2 draw at the City Ground was somewhat of a shock result at the time, with Forest rooted to the bottom of the Premier League and on their way to relegation to the First Division.

Since then Liverpool have lifted two FA Cups, three League Cups, the UEFA Cup and the Champions League - which used to be known as the European Cup.

Meanwhile Forest have fallen as low as the third tier and failed to return the top flight since.

But there's still a rivalry - more on that HERE .

What the Reds' squad could look like next season

Forest manager Martin O'Neill is set to address the futures of a number of his players during the international break.

With a host of players currently on loan at the City Ground, or away from the Reds on loan, and a couple who are out contract, it is clear the squad next season could be vastly different.

On top of that, a number of players find themselves well down the pecking order.

With that in mind, we consider the futures of a number of players and ask if they will be wearing Garibaldi red in 2019/20.
