Nottingham Forest are heading in the right direction off the pitch, according to loan midfielder John Bostock.

The Reds launched their new club shop in the city centre on Monday, with supporters flocking to meet Bostock and fellow summer signing Samba Sow at the Tourism Centre, and the creation of the store is further evidence of the promising steps being taken, says the ex-Tottenham youngster.

Forest have rarely had much of a presence in the middle of Nottingham in recent history, but following Evangelos Marinakis’ takeover in 2017, the club have been keen to change that with the shop being the latest addition.

"I think its great, I'm told it has been a long time since we've had a presence in the city centre,” Bostock said.

“It's fantastic for the city and the club and shows that the club is moving in the right direction and the presence is growing.

"The club are trying to help fans get access to the merchandise and to be connected to the club.

“Being here today it has been fantastic to meet the fans and you can see that having a presence here does really make a difference."
