EFL 'Spy Gate' verdict
The EFL have decided that they require more time to make a decision on last month’s ‘Spy Gate’ saga.
The meeting, which went on all day yesterday, resumed this morning as the Football League attempt to decide what punishment, if any, Leeds United should face for sending a member of staff to spy at Derby County’s training ground.
At its meeting on Friday afternoon, the EFL Board (*excluding representatives of the Championship) considered the matter of the incident in the vicinity of Derby County’s training ground on Thursday, January 10. Following a comprehensive review of all available evidence, it was determined that there remain a number of areas that require further exploration and clarification and these investigations will take place at the earliest opportunity. An update on this matter will be provided following receipt and analysis of those subsequent enquiries and until this point no further comment will be made.
Martin O'Neill is NOT concerned

Forest ranked 19th on chance creation
Some interesting stats from infogol.net...
The trip to Birmingham was the fourth straight game in which Forest have generated less than 1 xG (Expected Goal[s]), so something really needs to change if they are to make a late push for the play-offs – though even that seems unlikely given that Forest have been only the 19th best team according to xG.
Brentford have seen an upturn in form of late, are find themselves on a seven-game unbeaten run, with victory over Blackburn last weekend being their fourth in that run.
Defensively they have been extremely impressive in that time, conceding an average of just 0.64 xGA per game, so can be expected to limit an already poor Nottingham Forest attacking line.
The Bees sit in a false position at present, having been the 8th best team in the league, so it isn’t a shock to Infogol that they are favourites for this game, and in fact the 7/5 on offer still represents value.
