The Reds make the short journey up the M1 looking to make it two wins in a week against opposition from South Yorkshire.
After coming through a tough 1-0 victory over Sheffield United on Monday at the Nigel Doughty Academy, the Reds face Barnsley at Oakwell this afternoon (2pm).
A win for Jimmy Gilligan’s Reds would see them leapfrog the Tykes and move onto 28 points in the Professional Development League table, closing the gap on United above them.
Monday’s clash with the Blades saw Martin O’Neill and Roy Keane watch on as Liam Bridcutt, Jamie Ward, Arvin Appiah and new signing Pele all featured, and we’ll be keeping a close eye on the team news this afternoon.

What a goal that is from Victor Sodeinde. He gets the ball at his feet, drives into the box and as the keeper comes out to his feet, rifles a shot into the roof of the net. 1-1, lovely finish. Game on.
Taylor takes a corner short, gets the return off Kadded and drives a low ball across the box, no takers. Just needed a touch and that was 1-1.
Superb work from Taylor in the middle of the park to evade a challenge, he switches it Appiah who takes on his man, cuts inside and curls just wide of the far post, keeper beaten.
