There might not be any Championship football to get our teeth into this weekend, but that doesn’t mean we haven’t got plenty to come throughout your Sunday.

Another international break - boring we hear you say, well maybe, but it could be a useful one as Aitor Karanka hopes to get Daryl Murphy and Danny Fox fit again before their next outing against Hull City on Saturday.

What about new arrivals? We'll keep you abreast of any transfer news as the Reds look to strengthen their squad with their Championship promotion push gathering pace.

Beyond that, we had any news from the wider world of the Championship and football in general as England prepare for their crunch Nations League clash with Croatia at Wembley this afternoon.

As always, you can get involved in our coverage by tweeting @NFFC_Live or by joining fellow Reds fans on Facebook.

Full time

That’s time for today, but we’ll be back in the morning at 7am as ever.

Transfer rumour

Aston Villa and Swansea City are interested in signing international winger Jordan Jones, according to reports.

Jones, who currently plays for Scottish side Kilmarnock, was one of a number of players linked with Forest this summer.

The 24-year-old has made 16 appearances for Kilmarnock this season, as well as had two caps for Northern Ireland.

His performances have now grabbed the attention of Championship duo Villa and Swansea, reports the Daily Mail.

Jones was released by Middlesbrough two years ago, and Scottish giants Rangers also had a £350,000 bid knocked back for him in January.

Special day for ex-Red

Former Forest defender Chris Gunter is hoping Gareth Bale will lend him his private jet to fly out family for his record-breaking Wales appearance in Albania.

Gunter will become Wales’ most capped player on Tuesday night when he overtakes former goalkeeper Neville Southall’s 92-game haul.

But the Reading full-back is struggling to get family out to the Albania friendly - and is set to turn to Wales team-mate and Real Madrid star Bale for help.

“I’ll ask Gaz if I can borrow his plane,” Gunter said.

“It’s not the easiest place to get to, but if the Welsh fans can do it I’m sure I can find a way.

“I’ll be trying to get some family over there.

“But I know they’ll be watching somewhere even if I can’t, because they’ve done that throughout my career.”

Pep at home

Great insight here into how much Adlene Guedioura loves Forest and being a footballer in general.

I am looking to buy a home here; I want to establish myself in Nottingham because I love this city,” he said. “I have always been in love with Nottingham since I arrived here, which is why I always wanted to come back.

In football, you never know what will happen. I did not think I would leave in the first place.

But when something special happens, when you feel good somewhere, you want to come back. This is why I came back and this is why I am very happy to be here

Applause for Jordan Smith

Jordan Smith received a round of applause from his new teammates in the dressing room after helping Barnsley beat Accrington.

He trained on Friday for the first time with us and (on Saturday) had a clean sheet. It’s the best result for him and for us and we’re very happy that he could play

Jordan Smith made a dream debut for Barnsley, although it could be his only game for the club. Elsewhere, others had to happy coming off the bench.

League table which looks good

The main table already looks decent for Forest. This one looks even better - where the Reds rank in the Championship attendance table.

Super computer says...

A super computer has calculated where Forest will finish in the Championship table. Can’t agree with what it’s come up with personally.

Fryatt nightmare

Matty Fryatt has been discussing his nightmare time at Forest - and never even meeting one former manager.

They had me away from the club doing bits and pieces so obviously you get isolated. But I suppose it would be difficult being around it every single day, too.

Injuries are hard. They’re the worst thing for a footballer because you want to be out there doing it. Knowing that you can’t is frustrating
