Social butterflies will be able to gather at a new party pad in Nottingham. The venue is the one vacated by Fat Cat bar when it moved to the opposite side of Chapel Bar.

The empty unit will be transformed into Olivia's Townhouse, a place for cocktails, champagne, rustic pizzas and music, aimed at everyone from the after-work crowd and grazers through to high-end special events.

Opening next month, the bar "represents today’s social butterfly and style influencer who expects and demands the very best."

Brothers Jonathan and Gordon Codona, from the North East, are behind the brand, which operates Olivia's in Birmingham and The Butterfly Room in Durham.

A spokesperson said: "We also work closely with our constantly growing range of corporate customers who recognise Olivia’s as a brand they wish to be associated with, where we create lavish and memorable one-off events, product launches and annual hospitality functions."

The design will take inspiration form several sources from Parisian boutiques through to the quintessential English country house.
