Below is the full statement posted on ASP’s Facebook.

As many of you are aware, one of our ASP Troopers was hit this afternoon on Interstate 40. While sitting stationary on the shoulder of the Interstate near Mayflower, our Trooper was rear-ended – causing injuries to everyone involved. We are so thankful that our trooper suffered only non-life threatening injuries, however, he is still very sore and very lucky to be alive. He was transported to a local hospital by his supervisor. The driver of the vehicle that hit our trooper, and the passenger in that vehicle were also transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries. There are no details right now, but we ask that you pray for complete healing for our trooper, and that he can be released from the hospital this evening and return home to his family.
