Arkansas won’t host any official visitors until the May 3-5 weekend, but the assistant coaches are on the road recruiting during the evaluation period.

The Razorbacks have hosted eight official visitors for the Class of 2020 to this point. This past weekend they hosted three and landed two public commitments. Both Crockett (Texas) tight end Allen Horace and Carthage (Texas) offensive tackle Ty’kieast Crawford committed.

Arkansas remains in the hunt for the third visitor last weekend. Oklahoma City (Okla.) Bishop McGuiness running back Dominic Richardson has the Hogs very high on his list.

“Definitely at the top of my list,” Richardson said. “Top 5 for sure. They’re definitely at the top of my list. I like TCU, Arkansas of course, Nebraska and Iowa State. Those are the top 4 right now.”

The previous weekend Arkansas hosted five visitors. New Orleans (La.) Edna Karr cornerback Jamie Vance is committed to the Hogs. Carrollton (Texas) Hebron safety Darius Snow committed to Michigan State this past weekend. His father played hoops for the Spartans.

The Hogs remain in the hunt for Carthage (Texas) running back-wide receiver Kelvontay Dixon as well as the Lufkin (Texas) pair of wide receiver Ja’Lynn Polk and safety Jerrin Thompson. Dixon is a teammate of Crawford while Arkansas has a great chance at both Polk and Thompson.

As far as May 3-5, Arkansas has three more Texans slated to be in Fayetteville on official visits. They are Little Elm cornerback Ryan Watts, Arlington cornerback Jahari Rogers and Athens offensive lineman Garrett Hayes.

Watts attended a spring practice at Arkansas and was impressed.

Watts has a Top 10 of Arkansas, Notre Dame, California, Texas, Texas A&M, Baylor, Miami, Ohio State, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

Rogers has eight schools he’s considering.

Hayes took an unofficial visit to Arkansas during spring practice on March 9. He has the Hogs, Texas A&M and others very high on his list of possible schools. He has offers from schools around the nation. His mother played basketball at Texas A&M.

Arkansas would love nothing more than to pair Hayes with Crawford on the offensive line.
