A finalist in the Miss Hooters Tennessee pageant is facing prosecution after she allegedly vandalized her ex-boyfriend’s apartment following a breakup.
Madison Rogers, 21, was arrested June 7 and charged with burglary and vandalism of $1,000 or less, online court records show.
Her lawyer Kurt Bartlett did not immediately respond to a request for comment from the Daily News.
Rogers placed in the top five of the Hooters Tennessee pageant held in April, according to an Instagram post later made private.
“Hooters pageant 2019! Top 5 woohoo!!,” she wrote in the caption to the photo showing the winners, including Destinie Willis, wearing bikinis and sashes. “Thank you to everyone who showed love and support! What a great time.”
Surveillance video allegedly caught Rogers breaking into her ex-boyfriend’s house May 31, just hours after he ended their relationship, ScoopNashville.com first reported Monday.
Authorities claim Rogers “destroyed” the bedroom, bathroom and closet area of the residence before the ex-boyfriend returned home and called 911, the site said.
Rogers also had a confrontation with her ex in which she kicked open a door and assaulted him before fleeing, ScoopNashville reported.
She asked him if he “liked the upstairs” area where the alleged vandalism took place, the website reported.
Rogers was booked into Nashville’s jail and released after posting her combined $5,000 bond.
Her next court date is July 10.
