Dunkirk Democratic Committee opens headquarters

The Dunkirk Democratic Committee opened a headquarters for the election season this year. It is located on the corner of Central Avenue and 2nd Street in Dunkirk.

On Thursday, Sept. 17, the committee along with other citizens gathered together for a grand opening. All of the city candidates were present, along with a few of the county legislator candidates. Also present were the Democratic State Senate candidate, along with a Supreme Court candidate.

The candidates present were: Judge Diane Devlin for Supreme Court Judge, Austin Morgan for State Senate, Mayor Willie Roses for the city of Dunkirk, Philip Collier for county legislator, Legislator Bob Bankoski for county legislator, Bob Dando for county legislator, Frank Beach for Councilman-at-large, Councilman Don Williams for First Ward council, Councilman Marty Bamonto for the Second Ward council, Miriam Lugo-Alfaro for Third Ward Councilwoman, and Councilman Mike Civiletto for the Fourth Ward.
