The seniors from Dunkirk High School met in front of City Hall Wednesday to begin their annual “Senior Sweep” through the city. Approximately 100 seniors participated in this year’s event, going through the parks, beaches and roadways collecting trash and debris that has been left behind by others. “Their actions and willingness to give of their time to participate in this otherwise non-glamorous task is worthy of recognition and appreciation by every resident in this city, and I for one couldn’t be more proud of each and every one of them,” Mayor Wilfred Rosas stated.
