Dunkirk’s Sek wins marathon at Amish Country Festival

RANDOLPH — The second annual Amish Country Running Festival was held on Saturday, September 28 in East Randolph, NY. 184 total finishers from 11 states and Ontario, Canada competed and enjoyed the event.
The event is produced by Wilson Endurance Sports of Cassadaga, NY. The podium was well represented with runners from Fredonia and Dunkirk.
The mens overall winner of the marathon event was Dunkirk’s Steven Sek, 42, with a time of 4:02:55.
In addition, Lisa Augustine-Glasier, 54, of Fredonia finished second in the womens marathon with a time of 4:59:46.
