Name: Aaron Nagao

Noteworthy: He won the 126-pound class at the CIF-Southern Section Southern Division Wrestling Championships at Brea Olinda High. Nagao, a junior who is ranked No. 2 in the state in his weight class, defeated No. 4-ranked Christian Nunez of Bishop Amat 1-0 in the final. Nagao, who finished second at 113 pounds at last season’s CIF State meet, missed much of this season because of a sprained medial-collateral ligament. Nagao will compete in the CIF-SS Masters Meet on Friday and Saturday at Cerritos College.
