A Bellevue couple died Saturday after their motorcycle collided in an intersection with a pickup driven by a 16-year-old.
Bellevue police said the motorcycle driver, Jason M. Burgess, 39, was pronounced dead at the scene at 21st Street and Cornhusker Road. His wife and passenger, Megan M. Burgess, 29, was taken to the Nebraska Medical Center with CPR in progress and later died.
Investigators determined that a 2013 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was eastbound on Cornhusker about 7:30 p.m. when it collided with a 1999 Dodge Ram pickup truck making a left turn at 21st Street.
The male driver of the pickup was not injured. The crash is under investigation.
