• Bachelor in Paradise season six premieres on Monday, August 5 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC.
  • Chris Harrison is set to return as host.
  • And yes, a teaser trailer has already been released.

There’s no such thing as a Bachelor drought as ABC continuously returns with a new crop of hopeful singles looking to find love on national television. While fans will have to say goodbye to Hannah Brown’s journey once she picks the one on The Bachelorette in August, season six of Bachelor in Paradise airs just one week after the finale. (In between, we suggest catching up on Big Brother and Love Island).

Bachelor Nation knows exactly what goes down in the beloved summer spinoff. But for newbies, here’s the gist: In Bachelor in Paradise, contestants who didn’t become engaged on The Bachelor or The Bachelorette return to a tropical location (looks like this season will take place in Sayulita, Mexico) in hopes of finding a person to walk down the aisle with—though they mostly participate in hot summer flings. Of course, these wide-eyed reality TV stars are even more interesting to watch since America already got to know them as previous contestants.

What is the Bachelor in Paradise start date?

The sixth season premieres on Monday, August 5 at 8 p.m. ET and yes, longtime host Chris Harrison will kick off the festivities.

How can I watch Bachelor in Paradise?

Other than tuning into ABC every Monday at 8 p.m., your best bet is to watch the show on ABC.go.com, or to download the accompanying ABC App. If you don’t have cable, we recommend streaming services like Hulu or YouTube Live—which both offer free trials.

Is there a trailer yet?

There’s a teaser—and it's unbelievably dramatic.

Who’s in the Bachelor in Paradise cast?

While everyone on the show has a lot of relationship baggage—after all, they each typically fell for the Bachelor or Bachelorette during their season—you don’t really have to know their back stories since entirely new ones will unfold as they arrive in the tropics.

Here's the full list of cast members for this season: Dylan Barbour, Chris Bukowski, Kevin Fortenberry, Wills Reid, Jane Averbukh, Caelynn Miller-Keyes, Annaliese Puccini, Sydney Lotuaco, Nicole Lopez-Alvar, Derek Peth, Hannah Godwin, Katie Morton, Onyeka Ehie, Cam Ayala, Clay Harbor, John Paul Jones, Bibiana Julian, Blake Horstmann, Tayshia Adams, and Demi Burnett. Of course, Wells Adams—who recently got engaged to Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland—will serve as the bartender.

Are there any spoilers so far?

The show is currently in production and fan sites have begun to spill the beans about what's going on. But if, like us, you'd rather wait 'til the first episode airs, we'll gather our details from the teaser above.

In it, Chris Harrison meets with Demi Burnett and asks whether she’s ready. Her response: “Oh, I’m more than ready.” No, that’s not particularly juicy, however, we do know that Blake Horstmann is already in a funny love triangle thanks to Dean Unglert, who made a joke about it as a clip of Horstmann making out with Hannah Godwin and Tayshia Adams. At one point, Gowsin says, “What am I supposed to do?” Yep, dramatic.
