Mississippi, New Mexico agree to home-and-home series with Oregon State, Rebels make first-ever Corvallis appearance for a current SEC school

Oregon State announced a number of additions and changes Wednesday to its upcoming football schedules, most notably agreements to home-and-home series with Mississippi and New Mexico.

The Beavers and Rebels, who have never met in football, play Sept. 18, 2027 in Oxford, Miss., and Aug. 31, 2030 in Corvallis. It is the first time a current SEC school has played Oregon State in Corvallis.

OSU also announced a two-game series against New Mexico for 2027 and 2028. The Beavers and Lobos play Sept. 11, 2027 in Corvallis, and Sept. 9, 2028 in Albuquerque.

Oregon State and New Mexico have played four previous games.

A few other additions/changes:

  • In addition to a game in 2020, Oregon State and Portland State play games in 2025 and 2027 in Reser Stadium.
  • Idaho State has been added to the 2024 home schedule.
  • Oregon State’s game against Fresno State at Reser in 2024 has moved to 2025.

With the updates, Oregon State will have seven-game home schedules in 2020, 2022 and 2024.

2020: at Oklahoma State (Sept. 3), Colorado State (Sept. 12), Portland State (Sept. 19).

2021: at Purdue (Sept. 4), Hawaii (Sept. 11), Idaho (Sept. 18).

2022: Boise State (Sept. 3), at Fresno State (Sept. 10), Montana State (Sept. 17).

2023: at Boise State (Sept. 2), UC Davis (Sept. 9), San Diego State (Sept. 16).

2024: Idaho State (Aug. 31), at San Jose State (Sept. 14), Purdue (Sept. 21).

2025: Portland State (Aug. 30), Fresno State (Sept. 6), at Texas Tech (Sept. 13).

2026: Texas Tech (Sept. 12), at San Diego State (Sept. 19).

2027: Portland State (Sept. 4), New Mexico (Sept. 11), at Mississippi (Sept. 18).

2028: at New Mexico (Sept. 9).

2030: Mississippi (Aug. 31).
