The installation of permanent lights on the Troutdale Centennial Arch above the Historic Columbia River Highway will delay traffic 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 19.

TriMet has closed the elevator at the NE 60th Ave MAX Station as of Tuesday, Dec. 18. Elevator improvements are expected to be completed by January 9. The work is part of a multi-year, $22 million project to improve elevator safety and reliability. Because there is only one elevator between the platform and street level at this MAX station, riders who need to use an elevator must choose an alternate MAX station.
Reminder: The elevators at the Rhine-Lafayette Pedestrian overpass in southeast Portland continues through Friday, Jan. 4. The elevators and the entire overpass (stairs and elevators) will be closed during work times for safety reasons. When crews are not working - from about 4 p.m. to 7 a.m. on work days - the overpass and stairs will be open for use. This is part of a TriMet improvement project that began Nov. 26 to increase the reliability of the elevators.
