Portland metro Monday traffic: Bridge work over I-84 slows Troutdale drivers

Bridge closed sign

Be ready for delays as ODOT works on bridges over I-84 near Troutdale.

An Oregon Department of Transportation project to replace two aging Interstate 84 bridges in the Troutdale area begins Monday, Feb. 4. The bridges span Graham Road and will be raised to better accommodate truck traffic, widen Graham Road to three lanes and add bike lanes and a new sidewalk. Drivers should expect occasional lane closures during night work on I-84. Some lanes and ramps on the interstate will be closed on weekends and nights. Graham Road will be fully closed for as many as six weekends.
