Portland metro Thursday traffic: NW Cornelius Pass Road reopens after serious crash

Road construction ahead

Wood Village and Troutdale area drivers will see delays Thursday and Friday on Northeast Arata Road between Wood Village Boulevard and Northeast 238th Drive. Crews will be paving the road 7 a.m.-7 p.m. June 13-14. Traffic will be allowed through in one lane eastbound during the work.

Through traffic can avoid delays by using alternate east-west routes such as Northeast Halsey or Glisan streets. Residents who live on side streets south of Arata Road should expect delays of up to 20 minutes during paving at intersections and driveways. Access will be provided to emergency vehicles, with brief delays.
