No, metered parking in downtown Portland isn’t free on Monday.

The city of Portland offers free metered parking on nine holidays. But Indigenous Peoples’ Day, historically celebrated as Columbus Day, isn’t one of them.

Portland’s next free parking day is Veterans Day, Nov. 11. Parking is also free on Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Free holiday parking doesn’t apply in city parks.
