Reminder: the Oregon Department of Transportation will replace some variable message boards and signs in three locations on Interstate 5 in the coming weeks. Crews will close lanes near the work causing travel delays. Most of the work will be done 9 p.m.-5 a.m. to limit traffic slowdowns.

The first sign to be replaced is on I-5 southbound near Arndt Road, just south of Wilsonville. The work continues 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 19. At least one lane will be open during construction.

The next will be on I-5 northbound at Perkins Road, just north of Keizer (MP 262). Crews will work on the sign 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Wednesday-Thursday, Nov. 20-21. One lane will remain open.

The final board is north of Eugene on I-5 near Lake Creek. Expect delays 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Sunday-Wednesday, Nov. 24-27.

Multnomah County has reopened Southeast Cochran Road in Troutdale following a five-month closure to build a new bridge over Beaver Creek. Both lanes of traffic will be open to vehicles Tuesday, but drivers should
expect intermittent shoulder closures with flaggers directing traffic throughout the week for landscaping work.
