Prepare to be amazed Friday morning. Also, plug your ears.
The Oregon Air National Guard’s 142nd Wing and 173rd Fighter Wing is planning numerous F-15 Eagle flyovers Friday throughout Oregon and Southwest Washington in honor of healthcare workers, first responders and others essential to battling the coronavirus outbreak.
The F-15s will be flown at about 1,500 feet above ground level, at approximate speeds of 400 mph.
Friday’s flyovers are done in conjunction with regular training, as pilots must fly a minimum number of hours to maintain proficiency.
