Gresham Police identify victim in Saturday’s fatal stabbing

Gresham Police have identified the man who was found fatally stabbed in Gresham on Saturday morning.

Police said Nathan Butchek, 38, was stabbed to death near Northeast Wilkes Road and Northeast 181st Avenue. Butchek was a Portland resident. Police are investigating the case as a homicide, and have asked anyone with more information to call Gresham Police at 503-618-2719.
