Oregon Ducks move up in polls after second bye week

EUGENE — Oregon moved up in the polls after its second bye week of the season.

The Ducks (8-1, 6-0 Pac-12) are No. 6 in the AP and coaches polls this week, up from No. 7 in both last week.

Oregon received 1,224 points in the AP poll and 1,269 points in the coaches poll, up from 1,180 and 1,236 last week, respectively.

UO, which was No. 7 in last week’s College Football Playoff rankings, is the highest-ranked Pac-12 team with No. 8/9 Utah (1,099 points) as the only other team ranked from the conference.

Oregon hosts Arizona Nov. 16 (7:30 p.m., ESPN).
