Missing teen sisters found, reunited with guardian, Gresham police say

Gresham police are looking for help finding missing sisters Rabecca and Emma Elkins.

UPDATED Sunday, Aug. 18: Sisters Rabecca Elkins, 13, and Emma Elkins, 14, have been found and reunited with their guardian, according to Gresham police.

Two teenage sisters from Gresham are missing and police are asking for the public’s help to find them.

Rabecca Elkins, 13, and Emma Elkins, 14, were last seen on Friday, Aug. 16, when they left home to allegedly connect with a teen they met online, the Gresham Police Department said Saturday.

The sisters left around noon, police said, and might have been going to the East Portland Community Center.

Police are asking anyone who knows of the girls’ whereabouts to call 503-823-3333, or 911 if needed.
